The Eternal Abyss Tier List

An editorial practice order for first projects. It is not an official ranking and it does not score every tower.

By The Eternal Abyss WikiLast updated: 2026-10-17

What the letters mean

S is the first tower to enter from the spawn lobby. A is an Easy tower that requires a branch portal. B is a first Soul Crushing project after that Easy clear. C is an Extreme project after Insane feels consistent. D means save it. Letters compare when you should attempt the tower, not how good the tower is.

Which The Eternal Abyss boards are on this hub?

Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.

Tierfirst-project10 ranked rows.

S tier

first-projectTower of Naive FacadesPeak Easy and the only non-Soul-Crushing tower in the spawn area. You can see it from the lobby on its own island. The badge jokes that nothing scary happens. The tower page says the opposite: a jumpscare leads into a harsher second half.

Player decision First tower if you are still in the main lobby. Finish it once before you open an Insane portal in the same area.

A tier

first-projectTower of One Equals ZeroMid Easy, and the non-Soul-Crushing tower of Timeless Manor. The badge text is a joke about it being too easy. You still have to reach the manor first.

Player decision Best first clear after you can reliably find the Timeless Manor portal. Do not cross the whole manor looking for an Unreal obelisk on night one.

first-projectTower of Modernistic Design ChoicesThe Easy tower of Pit of Misery. Its badge says the tower is modern and has no parts at all, which is flavor text, not a routing instruction. The area's own portal room uses separate music.

Player decision First clear once the Pit of Misery portal label is the one you walked through. The rest of that area's Insane list is a different sport.

first-projectTower of Nocturnal EdificeThe Easy tower listed for Starry Night. The area itself opened February 13, 2026, so older 'three area' guides will not mention it.

Player decision Use it as the Starry Night orientation clear. Do not treat Steeple of Esoteric Arcane as the Easy option. That steeple is in the Insane band.

B tier

first-projectTower of Fear of HeightsListed at the start of the main area's Insane band, so it is the local step after Tower of Naive Facades. Insane is already Soul Crushing in this game.

Player decision A fair first Soul Crushing project if you want to stay in the spawn lobby. Expect a real difficulty jump from Peak Easy.

first-projectTower of Trust The ProcessMain-area Insane tower with a full floor guide that links this place. A comment on that guide also offers an alternate conveyor jump, so the filmed line is not the only legal path.

Player decision Pick this when you want a video beside the attempt. Still do the Easy tower first.

first-projectSteeple of Esoteric ArcaneStarry Night, Insane band, and a steeple rather than a full tower. Some early-tower roundups group it with the Easy names because it is shorter. The area page does not put it in Easy.

Player decision A shorter Soul Crushing project after Tower of Nocturnal Edifice. Do not enter it thinking the chart says Easy.

C tier

first-projectTower of Sitting UpMain-area Extreme. A community chart places it at Bottom Extreme, about 9.03. That number is a community rating, not a Roblox stat.

Player decision A candidate for a first Extreme only after an Insane clear in the same area feels repeatable. The badge text about a thermonuclear bomb is a joke, not a mechanic list.

D tier

first-projectTower of It Never EndsMain-area Unreal. The badge jokes that the tower does end at the winpad. Public verification videos treat it as a high-end project, not an evening clear.

Player decision Leave it until Unreal is a chosen project. All-Jump can show you the route. It will not give you the badge.

first-projectTower of The Quest For PerfectionTimeless Manor Unreal. Community notes call it High-Peak Unreal around 13.80, on a wacky frame, with mixed progression. One late mistake can end the whole ascent.

Player decision Not a first Unreal. Use it only after other Unreal towers in the manor already feel readable.

The Eternal Abyss ranking questions

Is this the official difficulty chart?

No. The in-game chart and the area band lists are the difficulty record. This board only orders a handful of towers for a new player's first projects.
